All engines of the vehicles of the new generation conform to the Euro 5 and 6 standards. They are fitted with the Common Rail injection system with X-Pulse. This design solution allows saving up to 7% of fuel. The engine cooling system was also improved, in particular, the radiator area became larger.

These vehicles feature various axle configurations: 4 × 2, 6 × 2/2, 6 × 2/4, 6 × 2, 6 × 4 and the gross vehicle weight varies in the range between 18 and 33 tons. Mercedes-Benz Actros MP4 SLT tractor units are built to transport extremely heavy loads. Their gross weight can reach 250 tons. The axle configurations available for the SLT are 6 × 4 and 8 × 4. They are equipped with an updated engine cooling system, Turbo Retarder Clutch and also a 16-speed transmission designed for intensive use.

The high safety level of the vehicle is ensured by various systems. For example, Attention Assist monitors the level of the driver’s tiredness and, if needed, it produces visual and sound warnings offering to have a break.
